Hi there, I am new to IGCSE Art & Design so will really appreciate your clarification: 1. Must ESA final work be done A2/ is there any size recommendation? 2. Coursework final piece need not be done in exam setting correct? 3. ESA topics seems to not indicate any sort of design related questions but only a set of themes. How should the themes be approached? eg 2020 ESA themes were: 1 Changing times 2 On the edge 3 Pipes and plumbing 4 Shelter 5 A disregarded object
So the student should develop one of them like coursework? Or should he approach one of the themes like a design. Like if he chose 4- Shelter, can he design a shelter for a park?

Hello there,
ReplyDeleteMany of questions above you can refer to my sharing this link,
http://artandfeeda.blogspot.com/2020/10/art-design-igcse-0400-random-questions.html
For the ESA question, yes, student needs to choose 1 theme as a starting point and they can choose to do Design if they want to
Best regards,
Ms Feeda
